Terms of Use
Idlemir is an experimental sandbox MMORPG developed and operated by an independent developer with limited resources. The game is provided via the website idlemir.com and related browser-based applications.
By accessing or using Idlemir, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must immediately stop using the Game and the Website.
Translations are provided for convenience only. The English version controls in case of conflict.
Age Requirement
Idlemir is intended for users aged 13 years or older. If you are under 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and approved your use of the Game and accepts responsibility for your actions.
Early Access and Experimental Status
Idlemir is provided strictly as an early access, experimental, and unfinished product.
- The Game may contain bugs, exploits, balance issues, errors, and security vulnerabilities.
- Game mechanics, rules, content, and progression may change at any time without notice.
- Characters, progress, items, currencies, and any other data may be modified or permanently wiped.
- Downtime, rollbacks, crashes, or permanent data loss may occur.
- The Game may be discontinued at any time, temporarily or permanently.
Your participation is entirely at your own risk.
No Warranty
The Game and Website are provided "as is" and "as available". Idlemir disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Idlemir and its developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of progress, loss of virtual items or currency, loss of enjoyment, emotional distress, or service interruption, arising out of or related to the use of or inability to use the Game or Website, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory, including contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or statutory claims.
Your sole remedy is to stop using the Game.
Accounts and Responsibility
- Each user may have only one account.
- Accounts are personal, non-transferable, and may not be sold or shared.
- You are fully responsible for all actions performed through your account.
- Idlemir is not responsible for stolen accounts or user negligence.
Idlemir reserves the right to suspend or delete any account at any time and for any reason, including without limitation automated enforcement, security systems, suspected abuse, or risk mitigation.
Account Deletion
You may delete your account through the Account section of the game interface. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. All characters, progress, items, and related data are removed.
Residual technical data such as logs or backups may be retained for a limited time as described in the Privacy Policy.
Virtual Goods
All in-game items, characters, currencies, progress, and accounts are virtual assets with no real-world value. They are licensed, not owned.
Idlemir retains full control over all virtual assets and may modify or remove them at any time without compensation.
Donations
Idlemir may accept voluntary donations via third-party platforms. Donations are not purchases, are non-refundable, and do not create contractual obligations. Donations do not grant ownership rights, guaranteed access, or service continuity. Donations do not constitute the purchase of digital content or services within the meaning of consumer protection laws. Donations are made voluntarily without expectation of service continuity, feature availability, or data persistence.
Any bonuses or perks are discretionary and may change or be removed at any time.
User Conduct
- No cheats, bots, exploits, or unauthorized software.
- No interference with game systems or security.
- No impersonation or illegal activities.
Idlemir has no obligation to actively monitor user behavior. Enforcement actions are discretionary and may be inconsistent due to limited resources.
PvP and Gameplay Losses
Idlemir includes PvP and loss mechanics. Loss of items, progress, or characters is part of the intended gameplay and is not subject to recovery or compensation.
Public Chat and User Content
Users are solely responsible for their content and interactions. Idlemir does not guarantee moderation and is not responsible for user-generated content.
Public chat messages may be automatically copied and displayed on third-party platforms, including Discord. Do not submit personal, confidential, or sensitive information through public chat. By posting a message, you acknowledge that it may be publicly accessible, stored, moderated, or removed by Idlemir and the relevant third-party platform.
Feedback
Any feedback or suggestions you provide become the unrestricted property of Idlemir. No compensation or attribution is required.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Idlemir and its developer from any claims or damages arising from your use of the Game or violation of these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Cyprus, to the extent permitted by applicable law, and without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply in the user's jurisdiction.
Time Limitation for Claims
Any claim must be filed within one (1) year from the date it arose, otherwise it is permanently barred.
Amendments
Idlemir may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Game constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
